What is GreenAccel?
A focused pathway from strong concept to investment-ready project.
Africa is not short of clean energy project ideas. What the continent is short of is a structured pathway from a strong concept to an investment-ready project that a development finance institution or impact investor can actually commit to. GreenAccel exists to close that gap.
GreenAccel is designed for projects that are already investment-ready. If your project is at the concept or pre-feasibility stage, we are developing a separate early-stage pathway under the GreenAccel Academy framework. Details coming soon.
Investment-ready means: your project has a clear concept, a defined technology pathway, an identified site or geography, preliminary commercial assumptions, and a financing need that requires structured DFI or investor engagement to meet.
Built for momentum
- Your project is in hydrogen, solar, biomass, storage, or related clean energy technologies

What GreenAccel Offers
Selected projects receive three core categories of support.
02 Technical Support
Projects receive structured technical review, feasibility strengthening, and project development assistance to ensure their documentation and assumptions meet the standard that investors and lenders require.
03 DFI Introductions
CrossAfrique Hydrogen and AHF leverage their institutional relationships to create warm, direct introductions to development finance institutions, impact investors, and grant-making bodies relevant to each project's profile and geography.
Who GreenAccel Is For
GreenAccel Cohort 1 is open to African project developers and teams with hydrogen or clean energy projects at the investment-ready stage.
The programme begins with a West Africa focus. GreenAccel is not for projects still at the concept or idea stage; these will be served by the GreenAccel Academy early-stage pathway. It is also not for organisations seeking general capacity building or training only.
